Mahindra Celebrates 20 Years of Pioneering Indian Table Grape Exports

Nashik : Mahindra Agri Solutions Limited (MASL), part of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., marks 20 years of exporting high-quality Indian table grapes to global markets, including Europe, North America, China, and Southeast Asia. Since its first shipment in 2005, MASL has been committed to quality, safety, and sustainable farming practices.

MASL exports a wide range of grapes—White Seedless (Thomson, Sonaka), Red Seedless (Flame, Crimson), and Black Seedless (Jumbo, Sharad) under the Saboro and Frukinz brands. Its state-of-the-art grape packhouse in Nashik, inaugurated in 2019, ensures end-to-end process integration, maintaining freshness and traceability with advanced sorting, packaging, and cold storage facilities.

Working closely with over 500 farmers across Nashik, Baramati, and Sangli, MASL supports sustainable practices, improving irrigation, reducing chemical use, and enhancing grower incomes. The company has tripled exportable yields, from 2.5 MT to 7.5 MT per acre, while creating employment opportunities and driving community welfare.

Ramesh Ramachandran, Managing Director & CEO, MASL, highlighted the company’s transformative impact on Indian agriculture, saying, “This milestone reflects our commitment to sustainability, quality, and farmer empowerment.” MASL plans to expand into high-value horticulture crops, strengthen farmer partnerships, and promote sustainable practices, reinforcing its leadership in Indian agri-exports.
